Over 90 coalition militants killed in Asir in 48 hours: Army Spokesman

SANAA, March 29 (YPA) – Spokesman of the Yemeni army on Friday said that over 90 militants of Saudi-led coalition were killed and 100 injured by the Yemeni army fire during repelling five infiltration attempts toward Baqem district of Saada province, northern Yemen.

Brigadier General Yahya Sarie added in his Facebook page that more than 10 various vehicles of the coalition were destroyed during the confrontations, which lasted 48 hours.

Sarei referred that most of the dead militants affiliated to the so-called “Azal brigade” and “Alib brigade, and their bodies still scattered in the mountains and valleys.

He pointed out that Asir’s hospitals filled with the wounded and dead, after the arrival of more than 15 ambulance cars, explaining that the enemy was suffering a state of frustration after the failure to make any progress.
