President al-Mashat announces launch of national vision for building Yemeni state

SANAA, March 26 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Tuesday announced the launch of the national vision for building the modern Yemeni state and its executive matrix under the slogan ” A hand protects and another builds.”

In his speech to the nation on the occasion of the passage of four years of steadfastness in the face of the aggression, the president called on the aggression countries to make this year a year of peace and to resume the political process.

The president confirmed the readiness of the political leadership in Sanaa to deal positively with all peace efforts, stressing at the same time that the solution lies in working to liberate the land and expel the occupiers.

“We assure the aggression countries that our steadfastness is continuing, and that our hand, which extended for peace from the first day, is still extended for the honorable peace for our people,” President al-Mashat said.

President al-Mashat also confirmed the continuation of cooperation with the United Nations represented by its Secretary-General and its Special Envoy to Yemen.

He expressed his deep sorrow over the security chaos experienced by the occupied areas in southern Yemen and the sufferings of the people there due to the practices of the UAE occupation and its armed militias.
