GAZA, March 25 (YPA) – The Zionist occupation fighters launched raids Monday on positions of Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip, in response to what it called a rocket hit “Tel Aviv”, earlier in the day.
Palestinian media confirmed that the Zionist occupation air strikes targeted Gaza City, agricultural land in the north of the Gaza Strip and the location of Ashkelon of the Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, in northern Gaza, in addition to a site of the navy of the Palestinian resistance.
The media indicated that after the raids on Gaza, shelters were opened for settlers living in the Gaza Strip cover.
The move came after firing a rocket from Gaza at a house in Tel Aviv, which led to the injuring of seven Israelis.
These developments prompted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to cut off his visit to the United States to return home .
The Qassam Brigades rejected accusations directed to Hamas of being behind the rocket attack.
The developments come less than a month before elections scheduled to be held in Israel next month.
