SCER receives 114 applications for candidacy in complementary parliamentary elections

SANAA, March 25 (YPA) – The Supreme Commission for Elections and Referendum (SCER) on Monday announced the preliminary statistics on the number of applicants for candidacy in the elections to fill vacant parliamentary seats 2019.

Judge Ali al-Samet, head of the legal affairs sector in the Commission, said that the preliminary statistics of the total number of applications for candidacy in the vacant constituencies has reached 114 candidates, 30 of them are candidates for political parties and 84 independent.
