Army inflicts heavy casualties on coalition militias over 24 hours
SANAA, March. 25 (YPA) – The Yemeni army inflicted Saudi-led coalition and its militias heavy casualties in various attacks over the past 24 hours, the Military Media reported said on Monday.
In Jizan border province, over 20 Saudi soldiers were killed, others wounded and five military cars were destroyed in an attack carried out by the army on sites in MBC mountain, al-Safah and two villages of al-Qaimah and al-Saiabah.
In Asir province, the army took over several sites in attack on al-Rabuah and Majazah areas, killing and wounded dozens of the militias.
The army also fired a Zilzal 1 missile at groups of the militias in Alb crossing, killing and injuring several militias and bombed two military vehicles in Asir.
In border province of Najran, the army launched Katyusha rockets towards military gatherings of the militias in al-Hammad site.
In Jawf province, the army fired a ballistic missile, P-1, at groups of the militias, killing and injuring dozens of the militias, while the artillery hit other groups in Khab Washaf district, causing heavy losses.
In Marib province, the rockets unit of the army launched a ballistic missile -1 towards groups of the militias in Nehm district, heavy casualties on the militias.
In Taiz province, the army foiled attempt of the militias to wage an attack towards Maqbanh district.
In Bayda province, the army attacked and controlled over a number of the militias in Qanih area, inflicting heavy losses.
Since March 26, 2015, the Saudi-led coalition have intervened in Yemen’s sovereignty and internal affairs, and waged a military operating against the Yemeni army and people in flagrant violations of the international conventions.
