DHAMAR, March 18 (YPA) – Governor of Dhamar province Mohammed al-Maqdashi on Monday discussed with international humanitarian organizations the possible intervention to meet necessary needs of the province in the areas of water, environmental sanitation and health.
During his meeting with teams of the Danish Refugee Council and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, the governor stressed the importance of intervening to operate rural hospitals and to provide medicines and medical supplies for dialysis centers in order to ease pressure on the Public Hospital in Dhamar and Al-Wahda Hospital in Mabar district.
The governor also indicated to the importance of providing needs of the Cleanliness Fund in the province to ensure the continuation of its work in lifting waste to reduce the spread of diseases and epidemics.
