Water Minister discusses work of Public Water Corporation

SANAA, Feb. 13 (YPA) – Minister of Water and Environment Nabil al-Wazir on Wednesday chaired an expanded meeting to discuss the work of the Public Water Corporation and the projects accomplished in the past period and those to be implemented in 2019.

The meeting reviewed the role played by the Corporation and the activation of its activities, as well as the aspects of support required in light of the complementary work between all water institutions of the Ministry.

In the meeting, the minister confirmed the Ministry’s keenness to support specialized cadres in the field of water and sanitation, especially engineers working in the field.

Al-Wazir noted to the importance of the projects plan for 2019 in terms of the number of projects to be implemented, which would constitute a significant shift in the water system in the country.
