SANAA, Feb. 9 (YPA) – Foreign Minister Hisham Shard on Saturday met in Sanaa with the World Food Program (WFP) Resident Representative of in Yemen Stephen Anderson.
In the meeting, Sharaf referred to the statements of UN Undersecretary for Humanitarian Affairs on obstacles to access to the Red Sea Mills in Hodeidah province.
Sharaf said that “the aggression forces and its supporters seek to politicize the reality of the situation in the humanitarian and relief aspect in order to prolong the suffering of citizens.”
He called on the United Nations offices operating in the country to coordinate with the national authorities in Sanaa in order to obtain the correct information, confirming that the UN offices and programs would get all facilitates and cooperation from the competent bodies.
For his part, Andersson praised the cooperation of the Yemeni authorities in working to provide easy ways of humanitarian work.
