Zvezda magazine: 10 of “Sarmat” missiles could wipe out USA

SANAA, Jan. 29 (YPA) – The West today is focusing on finding a weapon against the nuclear-powered Russian robotic submarine Poseidon, which can carry nuclear weapons, the Zvezda magazine reported on Tuesday.

The magazine expressed doubts about the possibility of finding what could repel an attack by the Poseidon group of submarines.

According to the Magazine, the explosion of the “Poseidon” submarines of nuclear explosive devices eliminates what is on the shore from military installations and leads to the emergence of a radioactive tsunami wave.

However, the magazine ruled out that Russia would use these robotic submarines in the event of World War, and Russia would have preferred to use its new ballistic missiles known as “Sarmat” against the aggressors.

The Sarmat missile force is estimated to be between 6.75 and 7.5 megatons. The explosion of the rocket could cause 33 million to 37 million people to die.

If the Sarmat missiles were used against the United States of America, 10 Sarmat missiles could wipe out all of its population, the Zvezda said.

Nuclear warheads carried by the “Sarmat” Missile (or “Devil 2” according to NATO terminology) reach their targets in ways that make their destruction by means of missile defences very difficult.
