SANAA , Jan. 29 (YPA) – Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro has called on the United States not to intervene in Venezuelan affairs and leave it safely.
Maduro made the remarks in an address to his American counterpart on Tuesday, welcoming Venezuelan diplomats who had been withdrawn from the United States, saying:”Donald Trump … coup in Venezuela? No! Not in this way! Do not interfere in Venezuelan affairs, take your hand off Venezuela!
The protests began on Wednesday in Caracas, against the current President of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro.
On the same day, the Speaker of the Parliament, Juan Guido, announced himself as the interim President of the country. The United States and a number of other countries have announced their recognition of Guido.
The US Treasury announced that the United States had banned all assets and interests of the Venezuelan government oil company and placed it under its jurisdiction, as well as prevented it from dealing with it.
The countries, where the United States has intervened, have seen chaos and infighting.
