Update: Army carries out offensive in Taiz

TAIZ, Jan. 24 (YPA) – The Yemen army on Thursday carried out an offensive against sites of coalition-backed militias in Taiz province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The militias were inflicted heavy losses during the offensive in Hamir front of Maqbanah district, added the official.
