4 arrested in charge of plot to attack Muslim town in northern New York

SANAA, Jan. 23 (YPA) – The US authorities have arrested four suspect people after they planned to launch a bomb attack on a small Muslim town in northern New York State, saying that they have seized three homemade bombs and about 20 rifles, Reuters News Agency reported on Wednesday.

According to Reuters, the alleged plot was revealed after a student at the Odyssey Academy in Jeris showed his colleague a picture of another student and said, “He looks like the next attacker in the school, is not he?”

The security of the school was reported as the local police spoke with the student, who has the photo and the student who was in it

Police investigations led to searches and arrests of four people, including the student, who has the photograph.

The judicial authorities in New York accused the detainees of illegal possession of weapons and planning to attack the village of “Islamberg” of the city of Tompkins in the same state, through carrying out bombings.
