Deputy FM reveals reasons for suspension of meetings in Hodeidah with “other party”
SANAA, Jan. 8 (YPA) – Deputy Foreign Minister in the National Salvation Government Hussein al-Ezzi on Tuesday revealed reasons for the refusal of the national delegation to meet with the other party representing the exiled Hadi’s government in Hodeidah province.
Al-Ezzi explained that representatives of Hadi’s government set a condition that the meeting be held in a private building occupied by the Sudanese Janjawid forces, where photographs of their leaders were posted.
He added that representatives of Sanaa authorities refused to meet with the other party in a building under occupation, quoting them as saying “Our military honor does not allow us to meet in an occupied building by the Sudanese Janjaweed and the UAE.”
