IOM provides 32 tons of medicines, medical solutions to Dhamar

DHAMAR, Jan. 8 (YPA) – Governor of Dhamar province Mohammed al-Maqdashi on Tuesday inaugurated the distribution of a shipment of medicines and medical supplies from the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

The shipment included 32 tons of medicines, solutions and medical supplies, and hygiene kits for the health facilities targeted by the organization in a number of districts of the province.

The governor praised IOM’s support for the health sector and its efforts to promote the level of health services in the province to mitigate the repercussions of the aggression and siege.

Al-Magdashi indicated that the health facilities in the districts of the province need a lot of medicines and medical supplies.

He confirmed the local authority’s keenness to improve the health sector to alleviate the suffering of society and reduce the spread of diseases and epidemics.
