Suicide bomber wearing explosive belt arrested in Mukalla city

HADRAMAWT, Jan. 4 (YPA) – Security services under the United Arab Emirates UAE occupation forces have foiled a terrorist operation targeting one of the malls in al-Mukalla, capital of Hadramawt province, local sources told Yemen Press Agency on Thursday.

According to local sources in al-Mukalla, the security services arrested one member of al-Qaeda, wearing an explosive belt around his waist in the center of Farah Mall in front of Hyper Mukalla in Alsharaj area.

The arrest of al-Qaeda member in the commercial mall caused a state of panic among shoppers.

Mukalla and other southern cities, under the control of the UAE occupation forces, have been witnessing security chaos amid the spread of terrorist groups of al-Qaeda and Daesh.
