Report: 5 civilians killed, 7 injured in coalition’s attacks over 24 hours
SANAA, Dec. 27 (YPA) – Five civilians were killed and seven injured when the US-backed Saudi-led coalition launched airstrikes and ground attacks on several areas of Yemen’s provinces during the past 24 hours, according to reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Thursday.
- In Hajjah province:
Two civilians were killed and five injured, including women and children, in 2 airstrikes on a displaced family in Sawdi village of Mostaba district.
Two airstrikes hit Haradh and Medi districts.
- In Hodeidah province:
A civilian was killed and two women were injured in coalition’s artillery shells at Tafsa area of Hais district.
A civilian and his son were killed when the militias fired a guided missile to Bani-Maghazi village in the west of Hais district.
Artillery bombing hit the east of Tuhaita district, Zafran village of Kilo -16 area and the building of old court in Durihimi district.
Coalition’s militias fired several shells at areas in the east and south of Tuhaita district.
The militias shelled areas in the north of Hais district with artillery and machine guns.
A coalition’s bulldozer established fortifications and sites in the east-north of Shabab city of Taseen street.
- In Saada province:
An airstrike was waged on Qad area of Razih border district.
Meanwhile, artillery and missile attacks targeted villages in Monabeh district.
- In Nehm district:
Three Saudi-led airstrikes hit Mahli area.
