SANAA, Dec. 23 (YPA) – Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov said he wanted to end his career as Chechen president and admitted he was planning to quit.
Kadyrov said he had no ambition to get another job or other higher authority and described himself as “not at this level.”
Ramadan Kadyrov has been President of Chechnya for more than a decade.
In 2011, parliament re-elected and five years later, Kadyrov was elected again through direct elections. More than 97% of voters in the region preferred Kadyrov.
