Yemeni army attacks Saudi sites in Asir

ASIR, Dec. 22 (YPA) – The Yemeni army forces on Friday night attacked Saudi troops at Alib crossing in Asir region, inflicting heavy losses on Saudi army, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

Specialized units of snipers, artillery and engineering carried out a joint operation against positions of the Saudi army and paralyzed their move in Asir front.

The attack resulted in many dead and wounded in ranks of the Saudi troops and destroying several military vehicles, according to the official.

He added that the Yemeni army seized big quantities of weapons and equipment left by the enemy recruits after they fled from the sites where they were holed up towards Alib crossing.
