ASIR, Dec. 11 (YPA) – The Yemeni army repelled on late Monday an attack of the Saudi-led coalition militants in the border province of Asir, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
According to the official, dozens of the militants were killed and others injured in the battle which took place in Alib crossing.
Although the attack was backed by heavy air cover from the coalition’s apache, spy and warplanes to support its militants in their foiled attack, but it failed to make progress on the ground, the official added.
