SANAA, Nov. 12 (YPA) – Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Taha al-Mutawakil, on Monday visited the Cardiac Surgery Center at Al-Askari Hospital in the capital Sanaa.
During the visit, Dr. al-Mutawakil was briefed on the level of services offered to patients in the sections of reception, emergency, cardiac catheterization and surgeries.
The minister stressed the importance of uniting efforts to present the best health services to citizens, especially in light of the hard circumstances experienced by the country “as a result of the continued aggression and siege.”
He urged the need to expand the units of emergency and intensive care and raise their readiness.
Dr. al-Mutawakil discussed during a meeting with leadership and medical and health staff of the hospital mechanisms to develop the cardiac surgery center’s work and its needs.
