SANAA, Nov. 8 (YPA) – Chairman of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, said on Thursday that the Saudi-led coalition attacked grain silos and international organizations’ warehouses in Hodeidah under a pretext of containing weapons.
The move came after al-Houthi had warned of coalition’s plots to attack the grain silos in September.
“We warn that there is a schema carried out by the US-backed Saudi-led coalition and its allies to target the warehouses of international relief organizations and mills in Hodeidah, under the pretext of being used as barracks and weapons depots,” Mohammed Ali al-Houthi said on his Twitter account on Wednesday.
He added that indiscriminate bombings of densely populated neighbourhoods coincided with a media campaign being waged by media outlets loyal to the Saudi-led coalition to justify its crimes.
On Monday, the Saudi-led coalition’s warplanes launched several air strikes on grain silos and international organizations’ warehouses in Hodeidah province.
