ISIS regain control of Deir ez-Zor near Iraq

SANAA, Oct. 31 (YPA) – Iraq’s national security chief Qassem al-Araji on Tuesday warned against the withdrawal of the “Syrian Democratic Forces” from areas it controlled in the Syrian province of Deir ez-Zor near the border with Iraq.

Al-Araji said in a statement to the media that, “The withdrawal of Syria’s democratic forces and the spread of ISIS forces instead of them, carries more than a question mark, especially it happened near the Iraqi-Syrian border.”

“We must always be vigilant and ready,” he added.

The former Iraqi prime minister, Haider al-Abadi, said on Monday that the activities of members of ISIS organization in Syria is a threat to Iraqi territory.
