SANAA, Oct. 18 (YPA) – The leaders and members of the Ministry of Tourism and the Tourism Promotion Board organized on Wednesday a protest in front of the United Nations Office in Capital Sanaa denouncing the systematic targeting of the Yemeni tourism sector in Yemen, according to the official Yemen news agency(Saba).
In the message addressed to the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the President of the Security Council, the participants called for stopping the aggression and lifting the unjust siege on land, sea and air ports in Yemen.
The participants also called for stopping the systematic and deliberate targeting by the coalition on the tourism sector and the destruction of historic and archaeological cities and cultural, as well as human and natural heritage sites listed in UNESCO’s World Heritage List as a global heritage of concern to humanity.
