SANAA, Oct. 14 (YPA) – The National Authority for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Response strongly condemned the horrific crime committed by the US-backed Saudi-led coalition’s airstrikes on two buses carrying internal displaced persons (IDPs) in Jabal Rass district of Hodeidah province, killing and injuring 49.
In a statement, the National Authority held Saudi Arabia and the UAE and their alliance responsible for the commission of this crime and its predecessors, demanding to investigate and criminalize coalition leaders and all those found to be involved in these crimes.
The National Authority considered the United Nations and the Security Council as partners in the crimes committed by the coalition, due to their impotence and inability to take legal and moral responsibility, to deal seriously and firmly with these crimes and stop it.
The Authority stressed that the targeting of displaced has become a systematic and repeated which considers as war crimes, stressing that these crimes will not be subject to prescription.
The Authority called upon the international community to take serious action and conduct an independent investigation into all the massacres committed by the countries of coalition.
