Yemeni army repels infiltration attempt of Saudi-backed militants in Najran  

NAJRAN, Oct. 9 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees on Tuesday repelled an infiltration attempt of Saudi-backed militants toward Tabat Ghazi in Alsawh district in the Saudi southern border province of Najran , a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The official said that the operation resulted in several dead and wounded in ranks of the militants.

He added that the US-backed Saudi-led coalition warplanes launched several air strikes to back its militants in their infiltration which lasted for several hours, but without making any progress on the ground.
