Protest rally in Hadramout to condemn corruption, smuggling of foreign currency
HADRAMOUT, Oct. 3 (YPA) – Protesters in the city of Mukalla, the capital of Hadramout province, called on the coalition countries to put an end to the economic crisis that has affected the lives of citizens.
The protesters carried out a protest in front of Mukalla radio station, condemning the silence of the coalition countries, the government of exiled president Hadi, and local authorities due to the fall of the local currency against foreign currencies.
The protesters denounced the systematic corruption and smuggling of foreign currency by the coalition countries to create an economic crisis and real famine for Yemen.
The demonstrators raised banners condemning the silence of the coalition countries because of the looting of local wealth, and the result of coalition force’s presence on economic conditions exacerbated the tragedy living of citizens, in all southern provinces.
