Yemen parliament welcomes Pakistani government’s statement on Yemen

SANAA, Sep. 23 (YPA) – The Yemeni Parliament welcomed on Sunday the statement of the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Imran Khan, in which he expressed his keenness on the unity of the Islamic Nation and his country’s readiness to play a positive role if asked to end the war in Yemen.
Parliament confirmed its readiness to support any initiative that seeks to stop the war and bring peace and end all-out blockade on Yemen, which has been imposed for more than three years.
The members of Parliament pointed to the prestige of Pakistan in the Muslim world, Which depends on it to play a positive role, especially in light of the respect and appreciation of the people of Yemen.
The members expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Russian Federation and all the countries that expressed in the Security Council its position on what the Yemeni people suffer as a result of the war and the siege imposed by the Saudi-led coalition countries.
