Hundreds of people demand lifting Saudi military sites in Mahrah
MAHRAH, Sept. 17 (YPA) – Hundreds of people of Mahrah province on Monday held an open sit-in to lift the military sites and checkpoints established by Saudi-UAE coalition in the province.
The sit-in took place before Saudi military sites in al-Masilah district, declared a new escalating stage to force the coalition forces to leave from the province.
In earlier days, the coalition was planning to establish the military sites and security checkpoints to control over strategic areas.
The province recently has seen the widespread protests against the coalition which prompted Saudi Arabia to back down from its plans to control over a number of sovereign sites in the province.
