ADEN, Sept. 14 (YPA) – Dozens of the UAE-backed militants returned to Yemen’s Aden, Sources in the so-called al-Mahdar Brigade, which is led by Bassam al-Mahdar in the West Coast reported on Thursday
The sources confirmed that the UAE representative refused on Wednesday to hand over the dues of the militants for unknown reasons to the soldiers and the leadership until the moment.
The gunmen decided to withdraw and return to Aden, after leaving their positions on the West Coast front, while gunmen from the Hamdi Shukri Brigade were forced to cover the positions of militants from the al-Mahdar brigade, one of the sources said.
Al-Mehdhar Brigade participated in the West Coast Front three months ago, but it suffered heavy losses by the Yemeni army, and hundreds of militants were killed and injured by betrayals of Tariq Salih and his forces in the West Coast.
