Yemeni army attacks coalition-backed militants in Bayda

BAYDA, Sept. 13 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees on Thursday launched an offensive on the positions of the coalition-backed militants in Yemen’s central province of Bayda, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The attack targeted the militants in Tabat Jameel in Qaifa district, the official said.

Several militants were killed and injured in the attack, the official added.
