5 Saudi-backed militants killed in Marib

MARIB, Sept. 13 (YPA) – At least five Saudi-backed militants, including a leader, were killed on Thursday in an offensive carried out by Yemeni army forces against their sites in west of Marib province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The official confirmed the killing of commander of the so-called the third battalion, Marzoq al-Harmali, along with four of his escorts in an ambush set by the army forces in Harib Nehm front.

The attack resulted in heavy losses in the ranks of the militants, as well as seizing of weapons, he added.
