Coalition-backed commander escapes from assassination attempt in Abyan

ABYAN, Sept. 12 (YPA) – A military leader loyal to coalition on Wednesday survived from an assassination attempt by unknown gunmen in Abyan province, a reporter told Yemen Press Agency.

The gunmen operand fire toward a convoy of commander Mohamed Hammad Shaqi in Sanah district, killing a citizen.

Abyan city and others southern provinces have seen security anarchy, conflict and assassination attempts to fight each other, backed the Saudi-UAE coalition to loot the wealth in Yemen’s south.
