Yemen army shells Saudi-backed militias in Asir

ASIR, Aug. 26 (YPA) – The artillery forces of the Yemeni army and popular committees on Sunday launched intensive bombardments on gatherings of the Saudi-backed militias in Asir border province, northern Saudi Arabia, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

 The artillery shells hit militias’ gatherings at Ablib border crossing and west of Majazah area, the official said.

The bombardments inflicted heavy losses in lives and equipment, the official confirmed.
