President al-Mashat sends letter to Pakistan’s PM

SANAA, Aug. 19 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, on Sunday sent a letter to Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Imran Khan, congratulating him on his party’s victory in the Pakistani legislative elections.

In his letter, the president touched on the suffering of the Yemeni people due to the war and siege imposed by Saudi-led coalition, and the role hoped to be played by the Republic of Pakistan in contributing to stopping the aggression and bringing peace to Yemen.
