Pro-coalition Military commander loots 189 million riyals from Exchange Company in Dhalea

DHALEA, Aug. 12 (YPA) – A military commander loyal to the Saudi-led coalition looted a huge sum of money belonging to a banking company in Sanaa, local sources told Yemen Press Agency on Sunday.

The commander of the so-called Special Forces Brigade, Brigadier Abdou al-Halmi, refused to release the money.

According to the sources, one of the al-Hammi security checking points in the Qattba area, north of al-Dali district, had confiscated 189 million and a half million riyals belonging to Fataawa for exchange and Transfer money in Sanaa last month.

Al-Hammi tried to fabricate charges against the company, trying to blackmail the company and confiscate those funds for his favor.
