Zionist forces demolish Palestinian home in al-Ram, north of occupied Quds (Jerusalem)

OCCUPIED QUDS, Oct. 29 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces demolished a Palestinian home on Thursday in the town of al-Ram, north of occupied Quds (Jerusalem), the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.

The Quds Governorate said Israeli occupation forces demolished a two-story home belonging to Jerusalem resident Ashraf Salhab, citing construction without a permit.

The Israeli municipality in Jerusalem routinely denies Palestinians building permits and demolishes their homes or forces them to demolish them themselves.

These measures violate international laws and humanitarian conventions that uphold the right to housing, and form part of systematic Israeli efforts to forcibly displace Palestinians from Jerusalem while expanding settlements in the city and its surrounding areas.
