Saudi fighter jets launch 56 airstrikes on various Yemen areas

SANAA, Oct. 25 (YPA) – Yemen’s Sanaa-based armed forces spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Sarie affirmed on Sundy that Saudi Arabia had carried out 56 airstrikes and missile attacks over the past 24 hours.

In a statement, the spokesman clarified the strikes targeted civilian facilities in the provinces of Hajjah, Lahj, Amran, Saada, Al-Jawf, Taiz and Ibb.

He said the airstrikes were conducted by F-15 and Typhoon aircraft taking off from Khamis Mushait and Taif airbases, while missile attacks were launched from Najran.

Brig. Gen. Sarie added that the total number of Saudi airstrikes and missile attacks since the escalation against Yemen began had reached 3,179.
