Sanaa Health Ministry condemns Saudi targeting of maternity hospital in Taiz

SANAA, Oct. 25 (YPA) – The Ministry of Health in Sanaa strongly condemned, on Sunday, the Saudi airstrike targeting the Maternity and Child Hospital in the Al-Afa area of ​​Al-Asabih district in Al-Shamaitain Directorate, Taiz Governorate, which resulted in severe damage to its various departments.

In a statement, the ministry reiterated that targeting hospitals and medical facilities constitutes a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and reflects the Saudi regime’s deliberate attempt to deprive the Yemeni people of their most basic right to safe healthcare.
