Sanaa missile forces declare military operations targeting key Saudi facilities
SANAA, Oct. 24 (YPA)- Yemen’s Sanaa-based armed forces announced on Saturday that they had carried out seven military operations targeting sensitive economic and military sites inside Saudi Arabia.
In a fresh statement, military spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sarie said the operations targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Aramco facilities in Yanbu, and the Rabigh oil refinery, adding that the strikes achieved precise hits.
He added that the operations also targeted crude oil pumping stations and the east-west crude oil pipeline, as well as Najran Airport and Khamis Mushait Air Base. The spokesman stated that the strikes achieved direct hits.
Sarie further stated that King Fahd International Airport in Dammam was targeted, disrupting air traffic at the facility.
According to the statement, the operations involved ballistic missiles and drones and were carried out in response to Saudi aggression against Yemen.
The spokesman said the operations would continue against targets deep inside Saudi Arabia, as well as Saudi-backed military gatherings, until attacks on Yemen cease and the blockade is lifted.
He reiterated the forces’ stated policy of blockade for blockade and escalation for escalation.
