Child killed, two injured in Saudi airstrikes on civilian areas in Taiz

TAIZ, Oct. 19 (YPA) – A young girl was killed and two other children sustained varying injuries on Monday as a result of Saudi airstrikes on civilian areas in Al-Jand area of Taiz Governorate’s Al-Ta’iziyyah district.

Dr. Anis Al-Asbahi, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health in Sanaa, affirmed that the attack falls within the context of the Saudi regime’s ongoing targeting of civilians in Yemen and its indiscriminate bombardment.

He noted that the incident constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and adds to the series of war crimes committed by the Saudi regime in Yemen.
