GAZA, Oct. 11 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces escalated attacks across the Gaza Strip overnight and early Sunday, ordering residents to evacuate several residential areas and bombing homes. The attacks injured several Palestinians and forced hundreds to flee their homes.
In Gaza City’s eastern Shujaiya neighborhood, Israeli warplanes bombed a house near Al-Zahraa School in the east of the city and another near Al-Ailat Bakery in the west.
They also bombed a house belonging to the Hassan family in the Tawam area, northwest of Gaza City, after it had been evacuated.
In Deir al-Balah, Israeli aircraft bombed a house north of Al-Aqsa Hospital and agricultural land east of the city.
Two Palestinians, including a pregnant woman, were taken to the Arab Ahli Hospital in Gaza City after Israeli forces opened fire on tents housing displaced people at the Shujaiya intersection in eastern Gaza City.
Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis reported receiving six Palestinians wounded by Israeli army fire outside areas under Israeli control in the city.
Two other Palestinians were injured when Israeli military vehicles opened fire on tents housing displaced people at the Shujaiya intersection, east of Gaza City.
Israeli occupation forces also carried out demolition operations in the Shujaiya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City and the Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of the city. Another demolition operation was reported in eastern Gaza City.
Meanwhile, Israeli military vehicles opened heavy fire toward areas near the so-called Yellow Line in the eastern Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City, while Israeli artillery shelled areas in the eastern part of the city.
In central Gaza, Israeli forces opened fire from military vehicles east of the Bureij refugee camp and fired illumination flares in the same area.
Israeli artillery also shelled Rafah in southern Gaza.
According to local sources, Israeli military vehicles fired heavily toward tents housing displaced Palestinians in al-Mawasi, in Khan Younis and Rafah, southern Gaza
