IRGC: US ships retreated 1,000 kilometers from Iran’s coast

TEHRAN, Oct. 05 (YPA) – Iranian Revolutionary Guard spokesman, Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi, said that US forces were forced to move their warships about 1,000 kilometers away from the Iranian coast due to Iranian military capabilities.

In an interview with Press TV, Fadavi added that the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, the Gulf of Oman, and the northern Indian Ocean were free of any US ships for the first time, and that US warships were now 100% exposed to Revolutionary Guard missile attacks.

His statements come as Washington continues to tighten the naval blockade on Iran, with the US Central Command announcing last week that it had intercepted 125 commercial vessels since July that attempted to enter or leave Iranian ports.
