Gaza Health Ministry reports 8 killed, 26 injured over past 24 hours

GAZA, Oct. 01 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported on Thursday that eight Palestinians were killed and 26 others injured over the past 24 hours.

According to the ministry’s daily report, hospitals in Gaza received the bodies of eight newly killed Palestinians and 26 injured people over the past 24 hours.

The ministry said that 1,439 people have been killed since the ceasefire took effect on Oct. 11, 2025. It said injuries reached 5,052, and the number of bodies recovered reached 834.

The ministry added the cumulative toll since Israeli aggression on the Strip began on Oct. 7, 2023, reached 74,040 killed and 175,168 injured.
