Dozens of Zionist settlers raid Wad Raya, block roads northwest of Ramallah

RAMALLAH, Oct. 01 (YPA) – Dozens of Zionist settlers, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, stormed the Wad Raya area located between the villages of Deir Nizam and An-Nabi Saleh, northwest of Ramallah, on Thursday.

According to Palestinian sources, Israeli occupation forces blocked several roads in the area and restricted vehicle movement, disrupting traffic and forcing local residents to take long alternative routes.

Naji Tamimi, a local official, stated that Israeli occupation forces and settlers have intensified their incursions into the area since October 7, 2023, while preventing Palestinian residents from accessing and using their agricultural lands. He added that Israeli occupation bulldozers uprooted hundreds of olive trees in the region over the past few days.

Villages and towns across the Ramallah governorate have faced repeated attacks by Israeli occupation forces and Zionist settlers, including assaults on Palestinian residents and their property, the burning of crops, and the closure of village entrances.

According to available data, Zionist settlers carried out 628 attacks during August, including 157 in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate, 137 in Nablus, 120 in Hebron, 73 in Bethlehem, 40 in Tubas, 36 in Jenin, and 31 in Quds (Jerusalem).
