Military official: Saudi warplanes launched 51 airstrikes on Yemen

SANAA, Sept. 30 (YPA) – Spokesman for Sanaa forces Brig. Gen. Yahya Sarie said Saudi fighter jets carried out 51 air and missile strikes on several Yemeni provinces over the past 24 hours.

In a post on Telegram, the spokesman affirmed that F-15 fighter jets took off from Khamis Mushait Air Base, while the missile strikes were launched from Najran and Jizan.

He reported that the strikes targeted civilian telecommunications networks and civilian sites in the provinces of Marib, Saada, Hodeida, Taiz and Amran.

Sarie noted that the total number of Saudi air and missile strikes since the escalation began has reached 1,209.
