Gaza Health Ministry: 13 killed, 45 injured in Israeli strikes in 24 hours

GAZA, Sept. 30 (YPA) – At least 13 Palestinians were killed and 45 others injured in Israeli occupation military strikes across the Gaza Strip over a 24-hour period, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported on Wednesday evening.

The casualty toll includes four people killed and 14 others wounded after Israeli occupation forces targeted a civilian vehicle carrying a group of citizens, according to an initial report released by health authorities in the strip.

Earlier on Wednesday, the ministry stated in its daily statistical report that Gaza hospitals had received nine bodies and 31 wounded individuals within the preceding 24 hours.

The ministry updated the cumulative death toll from the Israeli military campaign since October 7, 2023, to 74,032 fatalities and 175,142 wounded.

Health officials further reported that since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, casualties have reached 1,431 killed and 5,026 injured, with 834 bodies recovered from beneath the rubble to date.

Rescue operations remain severely constrained. “A number of victims remain under the debris and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews are currently unable to reach them,” the ministry said in a statement.
