Al-Rowishan: Southern governorates’ residents are not Sanaa forces’ target; Red Sea security is purely Arab

SANAA, Sept. 29 (YPA) – Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Rowishan, Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs and Deputy Head of the Sanaa Negotiating Delegation, affirmed that residents of the southern governorates are not a target for Sanaa forces and pose no threat to them.

He noted that all live within a single geography and have jointly suffered from service crises, citing the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, who confirmed that the target is Saudi military mobilizations.

In an interview with “Al-Masirah TV”, Al-Rowishan explained that Riyadh’s option is to recalculate its approach to establish relations based on mutual interests, shared security, and non-interference in internal affairs, describing its reliance on Takfiri formations and military mobilizations as a failure.

He likened the fate of these mobilizations to collapse, similar to events on the western coast, emphasizing that the Yemeni people will not forget the Saudi regime’s crimes and its former dealings with Yemen via the “Special Committee.”

Regarding regional developments, Al-Rowishan warned against Zionist entity attempts to establish a presence in the “Somaliland” region to partner in the Red Sea security system.

He stressed that the Red Sea remains a purely Arab sea and its security is part of Arab national security, adding that any Israeli illusions of controlling it are impossible.
