387 people killed as devastating earthquake hit Indonesia

SANAA, Aug. 11 (YPA) – At least 387 people were killed in the earthquake that hit the Indonesian Lombok island, The Indonesian National Disaster Management Agency on Saturday.

According to media reports stated earlier that the number of victims reached to 347 people.

A devastating earthquake measuring 7 on the Richter scale hit northern Indonesia of Lombok Island last Sunday, followed by two aftershocks of 5.4 and 4.3 degrees.

The Indonesian navy announced that some 2.5, 000 tourists were evacuated from the islands in Indonesia after the devastating earthquake.
