Israeli strikes intensify in eastern Gaza City, injuring civilians and damaging homes

GAZA, Sept. 22 (YPA) – Israeli aircraft and artillery intensified attacks on eastern Gaza City on Tuesday, injuring several Palestinian civilians and damaging residential homes, local sources reported.

In Gaza City’s eastern Al-Tuffah neighborhood, an Israeli airstrike on a residential home belonging to the Karim family left three Palestinians injured, coinciding with heavy artillery shelling in the city’s eastern sector.

Off the coast, Israeli naval vessels opened fire toward Gaza City’s shoreline.

In northern Gaza, Israeli occupation forces conducted demolition operations northwest of Beit Lahia, while a woman was wounded by gunfire near the Abu Sharkh Roundabout in Jabalia.

In central Gaza, Israeli military vehicles opened fire east of the Al-Bureij refugee camp.

In southern Gaza, Israeli aircraft carried out extensive demolition operations south of Khan Younis.
