Zionist forces launch fresh attacks on southern Lebanon amid continuing ceasefire breaches

BEIRUT, Sept. 21 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces carried out new attacks on southern Lebanon, amid continuing violations of a ceasefire agreement.

An Israeli airstrike hit the town of Zibqin in the Tyre district, according to the state-run National News Agency.

It said Israeli forces also fired artillery at the municipalities of al-Mansouri and Majdal Zoun and adjacent valleys, and that some houses in al-Mansouri were blown up.

Around midnight on Sunday-Monday, the Israeli army fired illumination flares over several villages in southern Lebanon’s western and central sectors.

The Israeli army continues to carry out demolition, destruction and bulldozing operations in villages located within what it calls the “Yellow Line,” while shelling other villages with artillery and carrying out airstrikes using warplanes and drones.
